Lipstick+Bread performed a special cooking workshop for children at the fantastic Village festival in Edinburgh Gardens in Fitzroy, Melbourne.
Children prepared three special dishes: the magic Tropical Sunset drink, the one and only Tropical Sunny Side Up Taco, and Tropical Paradise dessert.
It was a wonderful spring day, a bit cloudy but very pleasant. And the kids eye’s were shining and smiling when they were touching the ingredients, mixing them and watching how something magic was unfolding.
The dishes were specially created for this workshop and we can tell you they were all a big hit with kids and adults alike. We were inspired by our travels in far north Queensland and around Australia, with the happiness coming from sunny days, tropical fruit and magic sunsets and sunrises.
We ended the workshop with a passion fruit dessert, sweet, sweet and with a bit of lime juice it made everyone smile even more. Kids are fantastic cooks!
